| St. Mary Magdalene, Bornova.
The church is about 30 minutes from St. John’s Church and services are held there on Sunday afternoons once a month. This well-loved church was built in 1857. It has been a focal point for the English residents in Bornova for over a hundred years, for much of this time enjoying a thriving congregation and choir. The foreign residents have now, for the most part, moved on leaving a very small community made up of a few faithful and generous families who are historically related to the church, as well as other sporadic attendees.
